Sarah Waldrip
Sarah is 22 years old, a senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and studying a double major in Honors English Literature and Journalism/ Electronic Media with a writing focus. She writes for several Knoxville-area print publications, including 180 Magazine, Blank Newspaper and the Maryville Daily Times, as well as campus publications, particularly The Tennessee Journalist (tnjn.com), at which she was recently promoted to Editor-in-Chief.
Sarah has mostly enjoyed writing about live music and musicians, and she hopes to eventually work in the music magazine industry. However, her interests are not limited to music. She also enjoys all forms of traveling, nature, philosophy, soccer, art and literature, and she is passionate about animals and humanitarian efforts around the globe.
Sarah is spending the month of June in Cyprus, studying travel writing and documentary film making.
